A girls treasured posession is her handbag

My handbag mini album. I've recently discovered the mini album and have really enjoyed  making this most recent challenge.

This project was made with the help of my CraftRobo Silhouete cutting machine. I cannot cut smoothly with scissors or craft knife even when wearing my specs so this machine is a blessing!

The tags are slotted into  concertina folded cardstock adhered to the base.

The contents are cut out and layered using he CRS.    Spaces are left for photo layering and journaling

My recent crafting

Now I've mastered posting text I'd thought I'd try a picture. This is one of my recent full scrapbook layouts. It was inspired by a Prima flower tutorial on Ustream.  I set myself a challenge where  I used acrylic paint and sewing on the paper for the first time. I painted the square and used black thread to sew around it. I decorated with Prima  and other flowers.
I used my own home made pearls and flourishes made using my Craft Robo Silhouette.

My gorgeous hubby gave me the Silhouette for Christmas and I'm really enjoying learning how to use it.  Later I'll post some pictures of a project I did using things I designed on the machine software.

Taking the plunge

I'm sitting watching the royal wedding and just on the spur of the moment decided to start a new adventure online. Blogging will be a challenge for me because I'm not a natural diary writer.
I wasn't that interested in the royal wedding initially but became enchanted by it  as I started watching. Weren't Kate and her sister Pippa stunning?

Most of my blogs will be about my journey with crafting. I have taken up scrapbooking and cardmaking after being inspired by my friend Helen. She showed me her scrapbook and later took me to her local crop.

I was hooked and addicted! Hence my blog title which was a comment from my hubby... I'm too busy crafting  lol!!!
